Monmouthshire Railway Society

A5-sized Journals, Part 1. 1987 to 1996 inclusive

A 'gazetteer' of articles that may be of interest or are of a local nature, contained in the A5 series of Journals. Items not covered by the list are 'Modelling Notes', 'Corroding Capuchon', 'Booking On', 'Passing Loop' etc.
The series began to carry their serial number from the March 1994 issue, No.21. The Autumn 1997 issue was a 1-off, 40th Anniversary Journal and was published in A4 size containing photographs only, some with extended captions. Usual Journal articles were suspended.
All photograps are reproduced in monochrome except for the 40th Ann. issue which has some colour content. Pre-1987 issues were in A4 format.

Purchasing back-number Journals : Copies of Journals may be purchased from the Society for £3 each, inclusive of postage. To find out if a specific issue is available, first contact us by email [query@mrsoc.co.uk] to check availablity and to obtain our postal address for Journal orders. Individual articles may be purchased at £2.50 each (or in the event of no spare Journal being available for purchase).
Note: as a rule, we do not sell back numbers less than 2 year old to non-members.
